Why Yuki Recommends This Tour

Tips and recommendations by our official guides

Welcome to Tsukiji, the heart of Japan's seafood culture!
Many tourists visit Tsukiji just to grab a quick bite, but they miss the incredible history and dedication that happens behind the scenes. That is why I designed this tour—to show you the "real" Tsukiji.

First, we visit a historic 60-year-old seafood restaurant. You will see their morning prep work and learn how the famous market operates. Then comes the ultimate tasting! You will compare three different cuts of premium tuna (Zuke, Chutoro, Otoro), try rare Nakaochi, and even learn to make your own Gunkan sushi. We also offer small tastings of luxury items like Uni (sea urchin) and Ikura (salmon roe).

After our tasting, we will explore the bustling streets for snacks like tamagoyaki or eel skewer while discovering Japanese knives and pottery. Finally, we visit a local shrine to learn how Japanese faith honors food. Join me to taste and truly understand Japan's world-famous seafood!
