Tips and recommendations by our official guides
Step inside one of Japan’s most iconic sports landmarks on the only Tokyo Dome tour sold in English. This is more than a stadium visit. With a baseball-loving local guide, you’ll go beyond the usual route and experience parts of Tokyo Dome that excite real fans, including stepping onto the field, seeing the bullpen and bench area up close, and taking photos with a bat once used by real players.
For Japanese baseball fans, Tokyo Dome is more than just a ballpark. It is one of the most iconic places in Japanese baseball. I played baseball seriously from elementary school through high school, and like many Japanese kids, Tokyo Dome was always a special dream in my heart. That’s why this place feels special to me.
This tour is for MLB fans who want to feel how deeply baseball is loved in Japan, for those whose interest in Japanese baseball began with players like Shohei Ohtani or Ichiro, and for families who want to enjoy baseball while learning about Japanese sports culture.
Even if you are not an expert, the tour is easy to enjoy. I’m now a Giants fan who still goes to the ballpark, and I love sharing how Japanese baseball feels different from MLB. My hope is that guests leave feeling closer not only to baseball in Japan, but also to Japan itself.

Tokyo Dome Behind the Scenes: Step Onto the Field and See What Most Fans Never Will
Meet your English-speaking local guide, a true baseball fan, right outside Tokyo Dome and kick things off with an experience that feels instantly special. Go far beyond the usual visitor route as you explore rare seating areas, stand on the field itself, and peek into spaces like the bench and bullpen. With the dome’s incredible scale all around you and a player-used bat in your hands for a photo, this is your chance to feel the thrill of standing where Japan’s baseball legends once made history.

Baseball in Japan: Explore Legends, History, and Hall of Fame Greatness
After seeing the stadium up close, head into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum to discover the bigger story behind the game. With your guide adding personal insight along the way, you’ll learn how baseball arrived in Japan and grew into a national passion. From Hall of Fame tributes to WBC displays and memorabilia linked to stars like Shohei Ohtani, this stop adds rich cultural context and brings Japan’s baseball legacy vividly to life.

Swing Like a Pro at a High-Tech Japanese Batting Center Finale
Finish the tour on a high note with a batting challenge at Spo-Dori!, where you can experience one of Japan’s most iconic everyday baseball pastimes. Batting centers with pitcher videos on screen are especially common and beloved in Japan, giving this stop a distinctly local feel. After exploring the field and baseball history, stepping up to the plate makes for a fun, memorable finale.
