We had a lovely time with Nina trying different tasty items of Osaka, viewing several cultural landmarks in the Dotombori area, and getting some historical insights. Nina was so nice! Definitely recommend. 

I am a veteran of many walking food tours. Nina, while pleasant, did not provide much information on Japanese culture, food or history. I sampled 5 tastings; one I bought myself, 2 were free samples offered to anybody passing by, and Nina provided 2 more. My husband and I left the tour with 30 minutes to go. I asked Nina if she had any prepared tastings with eating establishments with which she had an established track record and relationship. I was told “this is a walking tour”.  We expected a food tour so we left.

Nina was a great tour guide. We enjoyed history and eating Osaka's iconic foods. She answered our cultural questions, too. The tour gave us plenty of time to enjoy the foods and explore the neighborhoods.

We had a great tour with our guide Nina at the kuromon Market. Nina was very friendly, knowledgeable and speaks a very good englisch. We had a lot of fun and can recommend the tour to everyone. 

We really enjoyed this tour.  The bowing deers were so cute.  Plus the temples & shrines were very interesting.  Especially the Great Buddha in Tōdai-ji.  But our guides really made this tour a lot more enjoyable.  Really nice people!  And the most unlikely coincidence is Nina having been to Manteca, CA (where we live).  Most people don't even know where Manteca is :-).  To Nina & Anju, don't forget to email us if you come over here.  We really enjoyed your company.

I can not recommend the Foodie Tour enough.  Osaka of all places is very overwhelming.  Taking the tour with my family was a great way to get a better understanding of the city, culture and an introduction to the local food.  The restaurants and menu choices that are selected were excellent.    
Nina, our guide, was extremely personable.  It was very apparent that she loved doing this and I can honestly say that our time with her was too short.

We may have first met Nina as a guide on magical trip (Osaka) but we departed as friends after the conclusion of the food tour. This mum from Nara not only offers sensible advice on the best places to sample goodies, her warm personality and sense of professionalism ensures one maximises time spent together. Nina always made sure we were hydrated, gave excellent advice on an upcoming trip to Nara (local knowledge is always best) and even went out of her way to accompany us to the doorsteps of our next destination within the dotonburi area. She also takes great photos. Would highly recommend Nina accompanying you on your next culinary adventure in Osaka. Nina, thank you for the great memories. Cheers

The Kuromon market is an amazing experience and even better with Nina as a local guide to help explain and order some delicious food. We loved the atmosphere of the busy market and Nina was a wonderful guide, so friendly and helpful. 

Nina took us on a walking tour of a beautiful part of town and to many historical and cultural sites in Nara, then to a delicious lunch. Her English is great and she knows the area well. I highly recommend Nina as a tour guide.

Nina and Susumu were very helpful and well knowledged during the tour. A personalised tour and communication was great. It was such a memorable and personal experience of Nara with these 2 amazing guides. Loved how they took us of the regular touristy parts and showed us some amazing places that were really only known to the locals. Highly recommend this tour with these 2 guides to anyone who wants to see Nara for more than just the usual tourist spots.

We enjoyed a lot the day with Nina and Kayo. I highly recommend the tour.

Me and my wife had a great time with Nina and Kayo in Nara.
The half day walking tour was very informative and enjoyable.
We saw the main temples and shrines in the area, ofcourse saw (and fed) plenty of deer, and had a fabulous lunch that was included.
I can not recommend this enough.

Excellent tour! Nao and Nina were excellent guides, took us all around Nara and explained history and interesting facts about Nara. Both have great English and the lunch was fantastic. The deer are very cute, but be careful of things in your pockets! Thanks!

This was by far one of the best tours ever for me and my wife. Nina was an outstanding guide, directing us the most interesting places for us and answering all of our questions. She was patient, helpful, funny—a total pleasure to be with. From the bottoms of our hearts, thank you so much for a great day and a wonderful experience!

Miori and Nina were great hosts! They showed us around town, introduced us to some delicious food, and even were cordial enough to have a families of 3 who were late to meet us half way. Really fun tour from these two 👍
