What a fabulous day and perfect for anyone looking to see a completely different side of Bangkok. The guides were full of interesting stories and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Artist House. 

Aey was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and fun to be around. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Aey!

The tour with Aey and her colleague was extremely interesting. Aey speaks very good English and was absolutely convincing with her very good knowledge of Thai art, culture and history. She is extremely likeable and knows very well how to lead a group and lead through the narrow streets. On this tour you will learn a lot about the history of Bangkok, the coexistence of different religions and population groups, especially the Chinese and Portuguese. In addition to rooftop bars and shopping centres, this little trip, this day trip, to the hidden areas of Bangkok and the visit to temple complexes is highly recommended. Aey was an amazing guide that filled the day w smiles and great inside information on what we were seeing and the Thai way as to why something is.   She had Guide Kris with her and we was a gem of extra local knowledge and we will absolutely join another tour w theming we can. 
Pace was slow not rushed in and out of things.  
Canal skipper was also totally amazing.   
Drinks and food provided were a great treat.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “A Proper Feast in Bangkok’s Chinatown!”

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to eat your bodyweight in fabulous food and laugh until your sides hurt, allow me to introduce you to the Bangkok Chinatown food tour hosted by the dynamic duo: Aey and Zarut.

Our little group consisted of three lovely couples from the USA, one delightful lady from Belfast ❤️, and me — the token Brit trying to look sophisticated while secretly sweating like a roast potato in August.

From sizzling street stalls to cosy sit-down restaurants, we must’ve eaten at least 47 different dishes (I stopped counting after the fourth bowl of noodles). There was hot tea, cold beer, mystery snacks, and the sort of flavours that make you question every takeaway you’ve ever had back home.

But it wasn’t just about the food. Oh no. It was about new friends, shared travel tales, and collectively trying to cross the road without being flattened. The banter was top-tier. The Americans were charming, the lovely lady from Belfast was hilarious, and Aey and Zarut? Absolute stars. Kind, funny, and so knowledgeable it makes you wonder if they were born in a noodle bowl.

Their attention to detail was obvious from the start — from making sure we tried the best bites to ensuring we didn’t accidentally wander into the wrong alley and end up adopted by a street cat.

Aey also reminded us of the other Magical Trip experiences across Asia, and I for one will definitely be signing up. These two have firmly become my go-to guides for Bangkok and beyond.

It was SO GOOD! Such a great experience with Aey and Mr. Kris! Truly, one of my favorite tours. A great concept. We felt like we were hanging out with our friends.
