Had a great time. Miori was very knowledgeable and friendly. Got to experience a number of different style bars, some of which I would never have found otherwise. Recommended for a solo traveler or small group looking to hang out with some friendly people and have a great night.

My husband and I had a wonderful evening with Miori and Saki as our guides. We both fell in love with Kyoto, and this tour was definitely one of our highlights in this beautiful city!

I love them!
Very insighful, engaging, and happy to answer all your questions.
Sake tasting was great, definitely worth it.
Thank You Miori & Hikaru!!

She was very kind with us and had a big patient to explain and take photos.

Thank you for all

Miori and Risa were excellent guides for our walking to tour to Himeji Castle, Koko-en Gardens and the Otokoyoma Hachimangu shrine. Both spoke beautiful English and were knowledgeable and engaging. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Himeji.

Our tour of Osaka Japanese food cuisine was phenomenal. Our guide, Miori, was super helpful and answered all of our questions about Japan. She explained everything in detail about the food and the history of the areas that we walked through. The food was super delicious, my favorite stop was the okonomiyaki!

Miori did a great job of looking after us on the tour, always checking to make sure we were all included. She was friendly, chatty and quickly sorted out an issue with one of the bookings to make sure it didn't effect our enjoyment. She also seemed very knowledgeable about all the points of interest/stops along the way.

I have eaten in various locations in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima but Osaka easily beats them all. The tour takes you on an adventure through an entire area built to serve guests. The food was very delicious but what really made the trip worth it was the tour Guide Miori. She was both knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and loved to laugh along with the entire tour. I felt like I was visiting a friend! Awesome tour!

The tour of the market was just perfect. We started early and got to see the beginnings of the market. Our guide (Miori) was a fantastic resource. She recommended great new food to try and was very knowledgeable and informative. It was a wonderful overview of the area, its history, and its present. (Plus the food was interesting and delicious.

If you're in to Sake, you will love this Sake tour! In the end there was so much Sake. We went through the lil Sake town and it was nice taking a tour to the museum and our guides Miori & Hikaru was friendly, and educated us about Sake and any questions we have.

Went for the local foodie walking tour. Miori was an excellent host as she explained a lot of history while guiding us to hidden food gems around Dotonbori and Shinsekai. It was a small group (3 guests + Miori) so it was a perfect experience. 5/5 highly recommended.

We had a very informative and interesting bike tour with Miori. Thanks Miori for all your local information.

We did the Bar Hopping tour on our second day in Japan. It was very nice going to the different places with a group of equally ennthousiastic travellers. Tried lots of different foods and drinks and the guides were very helpful in explaining everything. Recommended!

Our tour in Osaka was definitely magical. Miori was an excellent guide, leader, and friend. There were three in our family and a total of 8 including Miori in the group. We definitely got plenty of food and drink on the tour and got a real appreciation for several izakaya's in Osaka. We wrapped up the night in a karaoke bar. It was a lot of fun and adventure for all.

The Sake tour was really great. We toured two brewery locations first and had 4 samples of sake there. We learned about the history of the area while we were touring. Miori was very knowledgeable about the area, sake production, and sake types Then, we moved to a sake bar and were presented with a nice set of 18 sakes with descriptions where we could taste side by side and compare while learning about the types. Miori and Taichi were very nice and personable. Miori even joined us in Gion after the tour to show us a great izakaya. This was our second tour with Miori and felt like we had made a new friend.

Miori and Risa were great guides! They provided us with everything we could have asked for, and answered questions we had. With all of our different interests, we didn't run out of topics to talk about during the tour. Also, what a small world with the entire group being from the same state. Hopefully the movie recommendations are good!

It was a very nice evening out. A little bit of showing around and some nice tastes and new flavors. Useful that the local guide know a lot and can guide you towards your personal preferences.

Miori and Nina were great hosts! They showed us around town, introduced us to some delicious food, and even were cordial enough to have a families of 3 who were late to meet us half way. Really fun tour from these two 👍

We had a great time on the tour. We really enjoyed the food and drink recommendations from Miori

Miori and Yoshi were awesome tour guides, super friendly and easy to talk to. They really spent time to teach us about sake and the culture around it. We had a fun time and learned so much, was definitely my highlights on my trip to Japan.

Miori was an amazing host and we had a great time on our bar hopping tour. Met some great and interesting folks as well. Would recommend anyone coming to spend a night out with Miori. Guaranteed to have a great time.

Miori was a great host! She took us to many different places to eat and drink. The group was diverse and fun, and we continued on after the tour! Just being able to relax and explore the night life of Osaka in a comfortable setting is worth the price. Thank you Miori!

I really enjoyed this tour. I didn't know a lot about Sake and I haven't had the chance to drink a lot of this tasty beverage before.

I really learned a lot about it's preparation and it was really interesting. We did drink a lot of it and I really discover how good every kind is. I always enjoyed a good alcool beverage, but Sake really took me by surprise.

My guide, Miori san, was a really friendly, kind, smart and professional lady. It was a pleasure to talk to her, both to learn lots of things on Sake and just talking about life while enjoying super good Sake.

I strongly recommend this tour

Good food, good company, great tour guide. All in all a good night out.

Good food, good drinks, good company, great tour guide. All in all a good night out in Osaka Damba area.

Loved our tour with Miori! We had a great time tryin new good and learning about the culture! Highly recommend and would do again!

Absolutely fantastic tour. Our guides were polite, knowledgeable, accommodating and fun! I learned a whole lot as we walked a nice route through Arashiyama. Our guides' English was great and so was their sense of humor. Easily one of the nicest parts of our trip. We're definitely going to hit up Magical Trip on our next trip to Japan!

Miori was a great guide for our street-food walking tour. She mixed Osaka history and culture into the tour, took us to some great places to eat (and drink), as well as some shrines and temples and backstreets a bit off the regular tourist circuit. We had a great time, and the next night even went back to a few of the places she had taken us to.

We had a great food-street walking tour with Miori. It was just the three of us in our group, so really got a private tour. Miori was an excellent guide and loads of fun, and took us to an excellent kushikatsu place (we went back the following night), and a cook-your-own okonomiyaki restaurant. Both meals were included in the price of the trip, which makes it really good value. We also visited a couple of temples and shrines (and learnt the difference between the two) and got a bit of an insight into Osaka's history and what makes the city tick. There's not too much walking, as you get the subway between Shinsekai and Dotonbori. There's no need to tip (of course, this is Japan), but Miori was very grateful when we bought her a beer on a scorching hot night.

We had a wonderful experience in Arashiyama, especially with Miori as our guide. She was wonderful tour guide who is very knowledgeable in each place we went to in Arashiyama that kept us interested and made sure we were well taken care of. It is a four hour tour so be sure to fill up on water if you go during the summer and have anything handy to keep the heat out from you. It was wonderful to see less tourist areas in the first part of the tour so we can enjoy it to the fullest without the worrying about others. Of course, the second part of the tour we went to the major tourist areas but we took our time and simply enjoyed ourselves. Lunch was included into the tour and we had soba and it was absolutely delicious: it was simple but full of flavor. I recommend having this tour and Miori as your guide if you want to see Arashiyama to its fullest.

Wow! Spectacular experience. Our thoughtful and friendly tour guide Miori navigated us through the interesting back streets of Arashiyama and then on to wonderful UNESCO sites. We finished the day with a beautiful traditional Kyoto lunch in a cool private room. It was great to have Vegetarian, Vegan and Halal options at the restaurant. Don’t subject yourself to the crowds of thousands! Local knowledge is the key to a great experience. Even better? Miori was able to take great pictures of us all throughout the tour and even helped us book a taxi back to Kyoto! Thank you for our day! - AJ and friends

5 stars easy. My sis and I had a personal tour by Miori and the trainee. Gave me flashbacks to my time at the university, when i had some drinks and something to eat with friends. Appreciated the small history and japanese drinking/eating etiquette lessons she gave us and maybe even more, the delicious food and drinks at the chosen establishments. Made our first evening in Japan a very fun experience and kinda smoothed us in in a culture really different from our part of the Netherlands.

Our senpai Miori did a great job introducing us to the Osakan way of having a fun night out. She and the trainee were really fun and talkative all evening, gave us a good insight in how things can and should go and made our first day in Japan go real smooth. After tasty food and a few drinks it was almost bad it had to end (even after a 12h flight with no sleep)

We had the best time with Miori! She is not only well versed in Japanese history (even the small details,) but she was able to customize our tour to match our personalities and interests. Additionally, Miori is fluent in English and even picked up on all of our jokes! We cannot wait for our next tour with her.

Miori was our local guide for the afternoon as we explored the Dotonbori area. She knows the area inside out and being such a small group she managed to point out so many little things as she got to know us and our interests. The food on the tour is delicious and she knows not only the places to go but which are the best items on each menu. Her insight into the area, the cuisine and how that translates into everyday life for people in the city really made for a fun afternoon.

I did not know what to expect but Miori looked after myself and the group very well. The highlight for me was the Tempura Bar and Sake Mojitos. Overall, the three restaurants were good quality and we got the opportunity to try a range of food types and drinks. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thanks Miori!

We had an amazing tour with Miori. Definitely worth doing if you only have a day to spare in Osaka

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide Miori was great and knowledgeable. Highly recommend her and this tour!

Miori was our guide on the Kyoto Sake Brewery & Tasting Tour. We had a great time learning about and tasting sake. It was a fun and education experience. Highly recommended!

Had a great time with Miori! She was extremely insightful during the trip and had a great sense of humor! Was nice to get the legs moving and cover some ground around Osaka.

This tour is a great way to learn about and sample different kinds of sake. I had tasted sake before but wasn’t a huge fan. But, that’s because I hadn’t tried really good sake before this tour. Now I know what kind of sake I like and have grown to appreciate and enjoy sake. Our guide Miori was very nice and fun to hang out with. I would recommend this tour.

First experience on matcha latte sake & matcha beer. Fantastic guide, tried their best to explain all the night life question. When in a country with different language, an experience with tour may helps a lot in this. Thanks for the night & for sure will return again for the other izakaya as well!

Miori was a great guide fir the Kyoto Night Foodie tour. Friendly, chatty and a great source of info Miori provided a great glimpse of Kyoto food an night life.

Excellent! Had a really lovely time and Maori was a great guide showing us some tasty food and drink. Highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide Miori was great, she showed us places that we would never find on our own. She was very helpful and asked us what we wanted to see and do. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to see the Osaka nightlife. Food recommendations were awesome, you wont go home hungry.

Loved jumping on the bikes and cycling through the suburbs and trying some street food was great. And we had perfect weather. We would have loved a little bit more information about the area or the neighborhoods. But we really did enjoy ourselves.

Thanks you so much Miori for the night foodie tour and the guided tour in Gion! It is a great way to learn about the Japanese culture and his history with a local guide. It is also very interesting to speak with the others that were on the same tour and discover meals and drinks from Japan. Keep up your good work and I wish you the best for the future! :)

Miori was my tour guide for this trip, and it was a personal tour as I was the only person on the trip. Probably not a bad thing as the market was so crowded it was difficult for the two of us to stay together at times. Miori knows what food is available at the market very well. She is easy to get along with, and we just spent the time chatting while trying different foods at the market. Baby octopus on a stick stuffed with a quail egg was interesting, as was tempura pickled ginger. The scallop was good. The expensive white strawberries were also quite tasty. Miori did have wet-wipes for when things got a little messy with the food.

At the end of the tour we went through an area which was kitchenware and tableware. I went back through those shops after the tour finished and bought a lot of Christmas presents for friends and family. So many chopsticks to choose from!

Do allow plenty of time to find the meeting spot, as Google maps had me walking around in circles for 20 minutes.

The tour was really fun, had lots of good food + drinks and learned a lot about Japanese culture. Miori was great, as well as the rest of the group. I'd recommend it to anyone spending time in Osaka.

My mom and I had a great time on the Kuromon market food tour! Miori, our guide, was super sweet and knowledgeable, and shared with our group some of her personal favorites. We’d definitely recommend this tour!

We had a great time with Miori, one of the best ways to see the city is by bike and it's great to have a local to show you around and help you learn more about the city, it's history and culture.

Had a great time with Miori, we went to 3 places all different, and she was very knowledgable and open to questions. great way to meet new people when traveling alone

I had a great time and would recommend this for anyone looking to experience Osaka's local food and drinks for a night.Miori was a great guide.

Tour was superb! Sakura were blooming and We had a lovely time! Miori and Jimmy were great hosts! :)

We had a great time on our foodie tour of Kyoto with Miori. My family and I signed up for this tour and let Magical Trip know that we are all mostly vegetarian. Magical Trip, and Miori, were great in accommodating us by finding veggie food at the restaurants we visited.

It was great to be shown around by a local as we were able to ask questions, etc. Miori was a great guide.

I'd recommend this tour to others visiting Kyoto, for sure. I'm glad that I signed up for this. :)

I highly recommend the Kyoto Night Foodie Tour! It's the best way to get around Gion at night, learn from the japanese culture and history while having a great meal with a local guide and other people around the world. If you are lucky as we did, you might see a geisha/maiko on it's way to work... Get your camera ready to take a picture; they are fast! Thanks again Miori!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening out with Miori. We visited 3 places during our night out and loved the food and drinks we tried.

This was my first time in Osaka and I looking for a different sightseeing experience. Saw on Magical Tours, and liked Miori's presentation. You could tell she came across very patient and sincere. So they offered a bike ride to Osaka Castle and venture around Osaka, I booked it for the family and requested for Miori. It was a rainy day and I have not touched a bike for years. it was a little challenging at first however, the experience was GREAT!!! the bike ride to streets of Osaka was relaxing when we biked along the parks or uncrowded places but the busy parts were a bit scary for me and yet exciting?! We got to see different sites of Osaka-which was pretty gratifying. It was pretty shocking how the vehicles on the streets were very courteous to us, no beeping horns!!! But still we needed to be careful and aware of the cars traffic and lights. I am not saying that we could bike in the middle of the road, but if we were to ride the bikes like that at home horns would be blaring. Japan is so neat! Oh the takoyaki stand we visited was tasty and HOT. Miori and Ken were our tour guides that day they were very patient, nice and made the tour very enjoyable/comfortable. The next time we visit Osaka I will try to book us on another tour with Magical Tours.

The Kyoto Bar Hopping Night tour exceeded expectations! Our tour guides were extremely knowledgeable of the different bars hidden in Kyoto and I had some of the best drinks and tempura we ever had! My partner and I also got engaged in the day so this was a perfect way to celebrate! 5 stars, I would recommend for the best time in Kyoto! Thank you!!!

Had the best time on this tour, am really glad I booked this short tour. Our guide Miori was excellent. We visited 3 places, tried different local specialities and excellent Sake. Incredible company as it was just me and 1 other girl in the tour, Worth every penny.

Miori was an excellent guide. Great English, great personality, and great conversations! She had wonderful recommendations, gave us quite a few options based on what our tastes were and I really enjoyed myself.

10/10 would go again.

We had a great time on this tour! Miori took us to some great spots where we got to try local foods that we wouldn't have tried if we were on our own!

Miori was very knowledgeable of the area and about traditional food. She listened to our requests and made great suggestions! She was very easy to talk to and made the night very enjoyable.

We had a delightful time with Miori on our first ever Magical Tour Bar-hopping during our first few hours in Kyoto. The food, sake and cocktails at the three izakaya were delicious and we loved the atmosphere of all three. I especially enjoyed the Kyoto Gatten Tempura Pub and Miori’s menu recommendations. That restaurant choice was so good that Miori ran into the guests in her prior night’s tour, who returned to the Pub on their own for more good eats.

Enjoyable and informative. A lovely night in Kyoto with delicious food (best tempura ever!) and a matcha sake drink that was both unusual and beautiful. Our group of 6 friends enjoyed it a lot, especially the walk around Gion and hearing about the history.

Miyori was a great guide. Took us to some wonder spots and hated some of her favorite dishes and drinks with us. Would definitely do this agai .

A great activity for the first night in Kyoto! Miori and Saki took the group of us through the streets of Gion and along Pontoncho. The bars we visited were great, with lots of interesting items on the menus. Would definitely recommend this tour and the friendly team behind it.

This will give you another angle from the culture. If you are too shy to go to restaurants this is just perfect! the guide will take you to restaurants and will help you order!!Thank you , Miori!!!

It was great! This is a must thing to do when you arrive to japan. This is just perfect for people that hesitate about going in restaurants or bars. Miori is a lovely young lady who guided us and introduced us to food and drinks. She taught us how to eat properly. It was a good night! we got to eat great food and had some drinks!. Thank you Miori!!

Both the company and Miori did a good job. The choices of restaurants in Osaka were great and we had a good time. It is totally as if you are hanging out with your friends and Miori was kind enough to take us to her favorite bar afterwards.

My husband and I joined Miori, Yuka, and another couple on this tour last week. We were able to visit places we never would have found and tried delicious food we would never have known to order. It was a great way to experience Osaka and learn more about this wonderful city!

Thanks Misa and Miori for bringing so much fun and greatly hopping atmosphere in this tour. You guys gave us a deep impression and funny things in the tour. This bar tour would be more colorful and wonderful if some local drinking games were included. Hope to have a chance to see you guys in the future.

Osaka is pretty undervalued by foreigners, and I'm sure it's because they didn't sign up for a local tour. We had such a nice time with Miori, she speaks English fluently and really knows how to show you a good time. The whole evening just felt well balanced with plenty of drinks coupled with typical Osaka style snacks and bites. Best thing about these tours is that they tend to attract people who all share the same openness to other cultures, and generally are keen to connect with other travellers. So whether you're travelling solo or with friends, be sure to check out this tour!

Our tour guide, Miori was very knowledgeable about the bars in Osaka and she also spoke fluent English. Miori was also very punctual, and were already waiting for us at the meeting spot, which was easy to find with the detailed guide she provided. The places that she brought us to offered amazing food and we got to sample some incredible kushiyaki and barbecue. The walk around dotonbori was also really memorable as the place was really crowded at night. I was also lucky enough to be paired with two tourists who were humourous, and also shared openly about their cultures. It felt like reconnecting with old friends, even though this was the first time we met. Overall it was really amazing and would be a lot of fun if you like to hang out with and get to know some new people.

The tour was a recommendation from our hostal staff and we had lots of fun! First we visited a temple in the Dotombori area and then went to a restaurant bar, we had the chance to taste sake and Japanese food and great talks with Miori, Natsumi and Yuki, who gave us chance to ask them all about Japanese culture and recommendations, definitely a great and different option when visiting Osaka!

I was finding it difficult to meet people in my hostel so decided to book this tour. I have no regrets as it was so much fun! Miori has a fantastic personality and really made a special effort to ensure we were enjoying ourselves - she is such a lovely girl. Kei also joined us later in the night which was amazing fun! Highly recommended!

This trip to japan was my first time travelling solo and joining this magical trip tour was such a good idea! Its a great way to meet people, make friends and have fun! I highly reccomend it. Kei-san and miori-san were great fun and also very knowledgeable about the area so answered all of my questions and taught me about japan. They even helped me with my japanese! Which seemed to get easier as i drank more... the food and sake were delicious and the 3 izakaya's were very cool. I definitely wouldn't have found them on my own. The tour was so good i booked one for Tokyo too! Thanks guys.

I was a bit hesitant when I arrived, as I realised I would be the only one on the tour but I was sooo wrong and and Miori was amazing. It was a real opportunity to try different Japanese food and drinks that would you probably wouldn't try, and in bars you would probably not go. Miori was great at explaining all the different foods and drinks and why they were important in Japan, so it was good to know this as well as try them. Also, as a solo traveller (and one who does not eat meat) I would never had attempted any of these places alone. The 3 restaurants were all really good (they choose the best ones for the different types of food) and I even went back to one of them the day after for lunch because I liked it so much. Talking to Miori all night long was very easy and natural, and she was happy to discuss cultural differences and talk about herself. All in all, it was like a night out with a good friend with great food and drink. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Osaka.

I strongly recommend this tour. It was such a great time with Miori(the tour guide). She was very nice and it was like spending time with a good friend. She is welcome to share anything you would want to like know about Japan/Osaka. I really recommend this and it's a big highlight of my trip.

I can only agree with the other Reviews, this Tour is a must do if you’re in Osaka. Miori was a great Guide she explained a lot about Osaka and showed some great places full of locals. You’ll get to see all the facets of Osaka from the busy streets of Namba to the quiet back alleys with little shrines.

So I’ve been coming to Osaka for the last two years. While staying at Fuji Hostal Namba I was able to join this bar hopping tour. The host K and Miori are awesome they met us at the hostal and took us to a few local places that otherwise would have been missed! I highly recommend that if you have a chance to do this bar crawl you should do it!
