It was a great experience. Gota was very Informative and made the experience so much fun!

Gota Murakami Was absolutely amazing! He made us feel comfortable and knew all the locations to get amazing pictures. I had a lot of fun!

We had such a wonderful experience with Gota! He was incredibly kind, helpful, and made the entire photoshoot feel comfortable and enjoyable. As we explored Shinjuku and Shibuya, Gota took the time to explain the history and significance of different neighborhoods and landmarks, which made the experience feel like more than just a photoshoot. He was also very helpful with posing and gave great direction, which made us feel much more natural in front of the camera. The photos turned out beautifully, and Gota was a pleasure to spend time with. I would absolutely recommend booking with him if you’re looking for a memorable photography experience in Tokyo!

I had an amazing experience with Gota-san! 📸 He was quick and efficient with taking photos and took me to so many beautiful places, including some hidden and secret spots that I would never have found on my own.He was very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire session. He communicated really well and made me feel comfortable, while also capturing some of the best shots. He has a very natural style of photography, so the photos didn’t feel forced or overly posed. The two hours passed so quickly that I didn’t even realize how much time had gone by! Gota-san is an amazing photographer who knows how to find beautiful locations and capture the moment perfectly. I’m really happy with the photos and the overall experience.ありがとうございました！ 🇯🇵📸

The tour was taken by a nice tour guide Gota, photos are fantastic and wonderful, love these photos so much.

We loved our tour with Gota! He was an excellent guide and had wonderful energy. He told us a lot about the different neighborhoods of Tokyo and answered our questions about the city and local culture. He was an excellent photographer and walked us through different poses to help us get the most out of our photos. He was prompt in sending the pictures when he said he would. We’re very happy we chose this experience. We also loved the small tour size!

I booked this photoshoot for me and my husband as a way to get amazing pictures on our trip without the stress of having to take them myself. Our guide was Gota-san. We arrived early at the meeting place and he was already there and he was easy to find as he had a sign. Gota-san was so kind and respectful. He showed us what we'd be doing for the tour so we knew what to expect. The kimono rental was fun. I don't know if I could have found the rental place without Gota-san. I speak a little Japanese, but my husband doesn't speak any. Not a problem! The kimono staff were so nice and had plenty of English signs. Our guide spoke English well. The package includes a standard kimono, but you can upgrade your look. I got a slight kimono upgrade and just paid for any add-ons before I left he rental shop. (It comes with a simple hair-do for women, special shoes, and a bag).At the temple, Gota-san pointed out interesting facts about Senso-ji and knew just where to take amazing pictures. His directions were clear and he was so encouraging that we were posing well (we've never done anything like this before). There were lots of other people there in kimono and they were taking pictures too, so we didn't feel self-conscious.Our guide said we'd have the pictures in 36 hours, but I got them before that! They came out amazing! They'll be great Christmas cards and I definitely want one framed in our house to remember this special trip.

Gota-san was extremely fun to work with. Gota-san took incredible photos with his own equipment and constantly made us laugh, making it a fun and comfortable environment. Gota-san even ended the night by walking the extra distance to show us a favorite ramen spot.We really liked working with Gota-san and absolutely will work with him the next time we come back to Tokyo!!!

Booked an experience through magical trips and the ladies were polite and a nice range of kimonos although a lot of things were at an additional cost so bear this in mind when booking but well worth it in my opinion! Geto-san was a fabulous photographer and really nice guide. Overall great experience. Thank you!

Gota-san was very knowledgeable throughout the tour and taught me various facts about the city along the stops. The photos were fantastic, and definitely good to show others. Gota-San was good at directing my photos, as I had never done a photoshoot before. I’d recommend this tour if you’re looking for a nice chill easy way to get some really good photos and learn about the city along the way!

Incredible experience!! Gota did an amazing job of setting up the shot, so even if you’re a little awkward in front of the camera you’re told how to pose and where to stand. The edited pictures were sent the next day! Also functions as mini tour of Shinjuku. Incredible tour especially for what you pay.

GOTA is THE GOAT!!! I HAD THE BEST TIME GETTING EDUCATED DURING THE TOUR AND FEELING LIKE A QUEEN IN A KIMONO!! He had several ideas for photos, amazing direction, patience when we went to the KIMONO shop. I legit referred someone to him while on the photo shoot lol. That's how great he was. Will visit when I'm back in another time. I'm here to support this for sure!!!

I had an amazing experience using this company and having Gota as our photographer. What makes this experience so unique is that you get to dress up in a beautiful kimono of your choosing as well as take beautiful photos while getting a tour of some of the most popular attractions in Tokyo. Gota is a very skilled photographer who was very patient, kind, and has an awesome eye and attention to detail in order to get your best shots! I was thoroughly impressed with the entire process. This was one of my most memorable experiences so far in Tokyo and Gota largely contributed to making it that way. Additionally, our photos were sent to us very timely. The staff were also very helpful and patient and took the time to help us choose the kimono that most complimented us. Don't hesitate to book this activity and request Gota if you can. You will not be disappointed!!

Our photographer Gota was super nice! He took great photos of our family and our baby. I was worried about how cranky she was going to be due to the jet lag, but Gota was incredibly patient and mindful.

This is one of the few experiences that included y children, 5 and 14 for me. My girls loved their kimonos, there was a stroller rental right across which was so amazing to keep my 5 year old engaged. Gota was our photographer. He was relaxed and fun. Introduced us to melon bread which was such a fun addition to our experience. I recommend an early morning or late evening to have less crowd if that works for your schedule.

Great Guide and Photographer!! Very respectful and funny guy!

Gota san made the trip quite engaging and was quite effective in getting us to the right spots for some great photos!

Gota has been great - I had a wonderful time at this photoshoot tour. I was looking for smth educational, but also with professional photos - and I'm so glad I found this tour because there were either only walking tours, or only photoshoot - and this one harmoniously combined both. Gota was very nice, polite, and offered nice spots and poses for photos. I got beautifully edited photos afterwards. This evening tour was a great addition to the regular day tours for first-time in Japan.

Gota-san took excellent photos and made the overall experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a memorable experience at Senso-ji and nearby areas. Thank you so much!

My daughter and I had a great experience with Gota. He took us to many places to take pictures. He was really good about showing us where to stand and how to pose which we really appreciated. And the kimono rental process was really smooth too.

Loved it, really Gota is wonderful, it tells you very interesting historical and cultural facts as well as the amazing photo shoot

I had an excellent time with Gota! He made it very fun and had some really interesting information about Asakusa and the surrounding area. And the kimono was beautiful. If you are interested in dressing up I highly recommend!

We had such an amazing time with Gota- he took beautiful pictures of my daughters and I and we saw some great sites around Asakusa :) highly recommend!

The photography night tour with Gota was a fantastic experience, especially for solo travellers. Gota was extremely knowledgeable and he captured some beautiful images. The Shibuya Scamble dash was fun! Gota was very kind to help me navigate the Shinjuku Station at the end of the tour too.

It was a great experience, and Gota-san was very considerate and professional. He was willing to reschedule due to the rain, but unfortunately I was not available on any other day. Despite the bad weather, he did his best and my experience was fabulous. We made many stops and he was very focused on taking the best pictures he could. He also told me lots of interesting information about cultural buildings and places that I would have missed as a first-time traveller to Japan. I am so happy with this photo shoot and would fully recommend it.

Gota-san with Magical Trip was wonderful! He was very friendly, fun to talk to, professional, and had pose ideas that made this experience unforgettable. He was prepared with a map showing the locations for the photo shoot. Each of the locations had an amazing atmosphere and he gave background information on all the places visited. I loved going to Kabuki-cho and of course the Shibuya Scramble. Gota even had a graphic explaining the strategy to get the best photo at the Shibuya crossing. He was very timely with sending the photos and the photos were incredible! I would book with Gota-san again!

Had a wonderful evening exploring Shinjuku with Gota-san and two fellow travelers, wandering the streets and capturing photos along the way. Gota-san was warm and engaging, sharing fascinating tidbits and anecdotes about each stop we visited. The photos he took turned out beautifully.

Gota-San was an amazing guide and photographer! He was able to capture some great images of Tokyo at Night while at the same time providing history and background of each site we visited. Fully recommend this tour w/Gota-San!

Exploring Shinjuku with Gota was such a fun experience! As a solo traveler, there was no better way to get amazing photos against the backdrop of Tokyo nightlife. He was so encouraging with the posing, and took his time to get each picture right. I highly recommend this experience!

We had an amazing time with Gota. Great guide and photographer. We appreciate these memories from our honeymoon!

Such are great time doing this definitely worth it. This tour was so fun and it was cool seeing a lot of different places.

Gota is an absolute legend at photography. He made the entire tour feel like fun. I’m an introvert and do not know how to pose for pictures, BUT Gota came to the rescue. He showed me how to pose and made the entire thing very comfortable for me. This is truly a must do for anyone looking to capture unique moments while in Tokyo.

Hi Gota Murakami You’re a very dedicated photographer.Of course I will write you a nice review. Nice to worked with you. I had a great time 🤩 . Highly recommended to all my friend. Arigatō gozaimasuThanh - San

Gota was great. He’s patient and provided good tour and good information. Kimono photo and rental were fun. Thank you so much. Enjoy Japan.

Gota was an amazing photographer and managed to take quite a number of amazing photographs of our family in a number of different locations. He also explained the history and customs of each place we visited, providing useful context for each of the photographs taken. Highly recommend this photography tour!!

Gota was really professional and I had a great photography tour with him! Highly recommend! Gota and I had to wait for each other 30 minutes past tour start time since the company told us different meet up locations and wouldn’t let us communicate with each other directly, and the crowd started to become difficult to take photos. It was affecting both myself and the photographer so it was a shame.

The photographer is very helpful and friendly. He taught me how to pose and explain the history of the places we went. The photos are very nice. 👍🏻

It was very fun and discovering the night quarters with a guide was a very big bonus. Gota-san is an incredibly fun and professional person.

Great experience with Gota Murakami who is an excellent photographer.A very good welcome with an exciting journey in the Asakusa district of Tokyo. A memory that will remain in my memory for a long time.

I am so glad that I booked this tour as a solo traveler. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Gota, my tour guide, who was very knowledgeable and took such beautiful photos. Thank you Gota!

I had a wonderful experience. I am very shy and was nervous about doing a solo photoshoot but Gota-san was very kind and I didn’t t feel uncomfortable at all. Also the photos were amazing! 10/10 I would recommend to family.

It was really fun and also interesting! Thank you!

Great fun and saw lots of interesting, cool sights with our photography, Gota. And he took some great photos of us at each place which he emailed to us after. Arigato gozaimasu Gota.

Had an absolutely amazing time on this tour with Gota - we were both nervous beforehand,, Gota made us both so comfortable, shared poses and ideas and our night ended up being one of our favourite parts of our trip to Japan - Thank you Gota!

We had an amazing time touring Asakusa in our kimonos and getting photos taken by Gota-san! He was always cheerful and took so many great pictures of us 😊

Gota-san is a great photographer, was very professional and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera, even though I’m usually a bit shy. He guided me through different poses and locations. It was such a special experience and I highly recommend this photoshoot to anyone visiting Asakusa.

The guide was great, pics turned out really cute. Gave it a 4 star because it was a ton of walking and we were exhausted by the end. Otherwise it was a fun way to see the sites and have non-selfie pics.

The tour was so much fun, Gota-san was very friendly, knowledgeable and speaks very good English. We got in early so there weren't many people on the streets and our photos turned out great, by the time we were finished the streets were packed so I recommended getting in early.

Gota was fantastic! He was friendly, very informative and energetic. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to anyone. The photos also came out fantastic. One of the highlights of my trip

My photographer was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I had a great experience and would highly recommend. The time flew by and it was very enjoyable.

Gota san is very amazing, friendly and knows where to do the photoshoot spots!Would recommend him to my friends and family in the future

Gota was excellent photographer + tour guide. He instructs us how to correctly pose. He also gives us some info on places we took the photos. I would highly recommend this tour.

Gotta was on time and ready to go as stated. He explained the way things would be done very well.He even waited 15 minutes for the others to show up before leaving for the shoot.

It was such a lovely experience ; everything was very pleasant ; and the guide was very nice , he explained everything so clear !! Thanx

We had an amazing photography session and tour in Shinjuku! The locations were stunning — hidden spots we’d never have found on our own — and the photo quality was incredible. He even got us a drink and made the whole experience relaxed and fun. It felt like exploring the city with a local friend who happens to be a pro photographer.

I was actually nervous when I booked Gota-san as this was my first time having a professional photographer take my pictures on a solo travel, also because I have no idea how to pose for pictures but he was able to suggest poses at every site we visited. And not only that, he also gave a little history and background about the sites we went to. Still nervous until Gota-san sent the edited pictures, Loved them! Truly is a magical trip!

It was a fun way to see the city, learn from a local and get gorgeous pictures in Tokyo. Gota-san was focused, kind and efficient! loved and 100% recommend

Very kind and very nice photographer! He even showed us corners of Tokyo that we would never have seen without him. Recommended

My son and I had a wonderful time with Gota-San. He was very charismatic, and shared local knowledge with us while shoeing us around Shinjuku. We got some great photos to remember our special trip to Tokyo! 100% recommend

Gota provided the best photography tour we've ever taken. High energy, direction for great poses, hidden gems! Wonderful sites we never would have found. It ended up being just being the 2 of us so the pace was perfect

This was an extremely awesome tour. Gota-san was an excellent and knowledgeable Guide. He took some very creative photos that are memorable and some are included of myself. This is exactly what I was expecting and had the classic looks of Bladerunner. The meeting place at Shinjuku station East exit by the lion statue is easy to find- picture is included. There is a Nice department store at the East Entrance. The tour requires walking and can be crowded at times, and one site we used the train system. Very Safe Environment. You can set up your Apple watch with Passmo or Suica App to pay for the transit system - tap and go. You can also use a credit card at the appropriate entrance turnstiles that are equipped for tap.Tipping is appropriate

Mr Gota was amazing! The tour, the explanations and, of course, the photos were incredible. Also, he gave us some tips on how to pose for the camera. I loved it.

Superb experience, Gota is an excellent photographer who even takes the time to explain the culture and traditions of Japan. The photos are very beautiful and if you don't know how to pose, no worries, Gota will help you. I highly recommend this experience!

Thanks so much goto san, really a good company! He knows really well the cool spots around that aren't too crowded, and knows his setup perfectly!

I had an amazing experience on the night photography tour in Shinjuku with Gota-san! From the very beginning, Gota was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about photography and the unique energy of Tokyo at night. We explored some of the hidden gems of Shinjuku—places I would have never found on my own. From neon-lit alleyways to quiet backstreets with character, each spot offered a perfect backdrop for capturing the city’s vibrant atmosphere. What made the tour even better was Gota’s guidance. Not only did he help with camera settings and composition, but he also gave great tips on how to pose naturally for portraits, making the photos feel candid and stylish. The pictures turned out beautifully, and I appreciated how much thought Gota put into each shot. This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to discover Tokyo’s nightlife through a creative lens. Highly recommended!

Gota showed us around really interesting and vibrant places, giving us lots of interesting local info as we went along. The pictures were great, and we had a lovely time. Thank you!

Gota san (the photographer) was so kind and professional! There was 4 of us in the tour and he took us to great spots and took amazing photos and even told us how to pose! Definitely recommend

Gotosan was very energetic and took us to many sights within Shinjuku for the photographs. We learned a lot about the area as he snapped pictures. He chose great places to take the pictures and was expert at posing us.

We had a fantastic time. We originally thought it was a photography class but quickly learned it was a photo shoot. It was so much fun. Gotosun was terrific in showing us all around Shinjuku. In the end we quickly received so many more photos then we expected We would definitely recommend this

It was an absolute joy working with Gota-san! From the moment we met, his warm and professional demeanor put both my husband and me completely at ease. He has a remarkable eye for capturing genuine moments and the lighting in every shot was just perfect. He expertly guided us through fascinating neighborhoods, pointing out hidden gems and sharing insightful stories that you wouldn't find in a guidebook. It felt like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend who also happened to be an incredibly talented photographer! We now have these beautiful, timeless photos that we will treasure forever.

I totally recommend this tour! Gota-san was super fun and professional. He showed me some awesome spots around Shinjuku and took amazing photos. Gota-san was an excellent photographer and lovely tour guide. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for some great shots of their trip!

This was such a great way to find a lot of hidden gems in Shinjuku. Gota was personable, fun and gave excellent photo instructions. I came myself and felt very comfortable and went out with the other people I met after the tour finished. I would recommend this to anyone!

We had a wonderful time with Gota- San ! He makes us feel comfortable and takes really great shots ! I definitely recommend him if you want nice picture in Tokyo :)

Loved this tour / photo shoot! Gota was awesome at making us feel comfortable and was pleasing to be with. And the pictures omg they came out amazing. 100% recommend

We had a really great tour with Gota! He took us all around Shinjinku with all sorts of fun photo spots. If you're looking for a fun night tour of Tokyo that doesn't involve drinking the night away and want some fun pics of your trip, this is a great tour!

the tour was magnificent, we took many beautiful photos and above all it was also an experience to deepen Tokyo and these two famous neighborhoods.I recommend it🥰

A fast-paced tour stopping at more than a dozen different locations. Gota-San takes beautiful photos and will tell you a little about the history of each location. Photos are delivered a few hours later. Gota-San was great!

Very good experience !Gota took really good shots and is very friendly :)Plus, he shares some interesting stories about the spots we went. Would 100% recommend !

Quick paced tour. Hit all the highlights of night life in Shinjuku. There is no way a tourist can see all the amazing spots by winging it by themselves. Very funny and lively person Kept my two teens entertained.

Our guide/photographer was fantastic! We had so much fun. We highly recommend this experience for couples and solo travelers. The guide walks very fast from site to site, so be sure to wear very comfortable shoes. He is a pro when it comes to walking through large crowds, so try to keep up! We also received our pictures the very same day!

Gota-San was the best. He lead us through a fun and well paced tour all over Shinjuku with great photos delivered several hours after the shoot. This is my third time coming to Japan with my fiance, and with the last few days here, (preparing to return home), Gota San have us one more awesome memory with his guidance through Shinjuku. It supplied awesome orientation and knowledge of all the best spots and areas to enjoy a night there.

Gota-san was amazing! We signed up for this tour on a whim, with low expectations, and just wanting to get some photos taken since we’re usually too busy in the moment to remember to snap a photo. The tour got off to a rough start when we arrive about 10 minutes late due to subway confusion and bad weather, but the tour operators helped us catch up with the group and we didn’t miss any of the great photography opportunities. Despite the rain we had a ton of fun and Gota-san set up some awesome shots, gave helpful posing tips, and shared lots of cool information about the places we visited. The really amazing part was the quality of wonderful edited photos that were emailed to us just 3 hours after our two hour tour running around in the rain. Gota-san’s commitment to creating a wonderful experience really showed and I would 100% recommend this experience.

Gota-San so far was the best guide and the professional photographer I’ve had experience meeting with: very respectful of timing, insightful and generally pleasant person to have a conversation with (great command of English too).

Gota did an amazing job taking us around parts of Tokyo and took some AWESOME pictures for us! We love them! Gota does walk fast but he stopped to explain interesting things to us that we would not have known. The free drink at the start of the tour was appreciated and helped us loosen up and enjoy the session! Thank you Gota!

Gota was very fast in getting the photos back to me, I had them the same night! They turned out lovely and it was all in places I had walked by without ever thinking to photograph it. During cherry blossom season I recommend choosing the trope rather than Shibuya, it was so beautiful. Thanks Gota!

Super worth it! I would definitely recommend as a solo traveler as a way to get some amazing pictures of yourself! I’m going look for similar experiences every time I travel now

Very pleasant, talktative and professional ! Arigato ! High quality pictures, that was a funny moment and we discover a lot of historical things about shinjuku !

Gota-san truly made my trip unforgettable by guiding me through Shinjuku and capturing memorable moments with his exceptional photography skills 📸

Wonderful experience and I will come back again. Unforgettable memories and beautiful photos. He is such a professional photographer.

My tour guide was great and was very informative as I was a tourist in the area. He really took his time with the tour and is very talented.

Wonderful tour guide and very interesting entertaining stories. Photos are amazing as well. Gota was absolutely great and so funny and kind

I dont know what I was expecting, but this tour went above and beyond my expectations. The tour was SO much fun, and Gota was amazing. We saw places that we had walked past without noticing and got to view the city in a whole new light. I highly recommend this tour, it was possibly the best activity we have participated in our whole trip!

The tour was an incredible adventure. I highly recommend to solo travelers and even group travelers. You will not regret it!

Super Fotograf Gota! Thanks for the nice pictures, had a good time Gota explained about the history of Shinjuku and took amazing pictures

I had an amazing experience during my photo shoot and tour around Shinjuku with photographer Gota. From the very beginning, Gota's professionalism and friendly approach made the entire experience enjoyable. He took me through the hidden gems of Shinjuku, especially the fascinating back alleys that I would have never found on my own. His knowledge of the area was incredible, offering rich insights into the culture, history, and local spots. Not only did I get great photos, but I also learned so much about the neighborhood's vibe and unique corners. Gota made sure to capture the perfect shots while allowing me to explore the area at my own pace. It felt more like a personal tour than just a photo session, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to explore Shinjuku from a local's perspective!

Our photographer was Gota-san, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It was a small group (total 4), with 3 from my side. Gota-san's English was remarkable, so communication was smooth. We were very pleased with the photos taken around the streets of Shinjuku, and definitely worth the price we paid. Furthermore, his post-processing speed was insane, we got all the photos under 4 hours! Since we came as a family of 3, we were really happy with the family portraits!
