It was a nice tour in Tsukiji with so much to see of fish and seafood. However, I would have preferred to hear more about the history and traditions of fishing in Japan, as well as the thoughts on fishing ecology today. 
We tried a fantastic tuna, as well as smoked eel, sakura mochi cake and tamagoyaki (omelette). But according to the add I had expected to have some more tastings from the market. The final sashimi lunch bowl was quite ordinary. 

Wonderful day with our tour guide Ken seeing the sights of Tokyo 

Ken took us into the culture and history of Japan found in text books of another era.  He provided daily life and religious insights and was generous with his time and knowledge.  Thank you for a most interesting journey into a beautiful and significant portion of old world Japan.
