Really enjoyed the tour. Etsko was excellent, looked after us. We visited several places including the museum.  Lunch was good. I tend to be apprehensive about walking tours but this was good.

We had a very pleasant and interesting day with our guide Etsko. She was very polite and attentive and explained a lot during our walks.The visit to the shrine and the temple was beautifull and our meal during the included lunch was delicious!We had a very pleasant trip thanks to our guide and the beautifull island.

Etsko was an amazing host and very knowledgeable about the tour, which  in this case was Hiroshima.I would definitely recommend the tour and especially Etsko to anyone looking for this or any guided tour. 5 star

Etsko was very friendly and welcoming. She had brilliant English and it was very easy to follow her helpful explanation of Hiroshima.Although the tragedy is difficult to hear about, Etsko keeps the tour as positive as possible. A very knowledgeable guide. Making the paper cranes was a fun addition and it was nice to eat lunch with our group and get to know eachother.This was a highlight in our trip and would recommend.Thanks again, from Glen & Steph

Etsko provided an exceptional guided walking tour. It balances the dark history of the bomb with an uplifting message. It highlighted the remarkable resilience and recovery of Hiroshima.

Took a day tour with Etsko about the history of Hiroshima. It was a powerful experience to learn about the horrific history of one place. Etsko gave our family a lot of information and we feel we know more about Hiroshima after today!She took us to a great rooftop for lunch; it was a unique experience to eat okonomiyaki while enjoying the views of the city. Afterwards we got to make paper cranes - another unique touch and a perfect way to end the day!Would definitely recommend this tour!

Etsko was an amazing guide and a very lovely person! She taught me so much about Miyajima island and all the history. It's a long tour but worth it. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend!

Such a great experience. Seeing the Tori gates, different shrines and learning about the history of the island. Additionally trying the local food like conger eel and maple shaped Castilla cake. This was my third tour with this company and it was really fun all three times. Happened to be the only one on this particular tour so made it personal and enjoyable

A great experience. Got to learn about the history and try the local specialty like conger eel and the maple leaf cake. It was worth the cost since I was the only one on the tour so it became a personal tour. The tour started from 9:30 till about 3 pm and it covered everything. The only out of pocket expense was the ferry to and from the island

This was a really fun tour! Our guide, Etsko, was very knowledgeable and allowed us to ask many questions. It was the perfect length tour around the island, and wasn’t too long. Lots of wonderful temples and shrines all along the route of the tour.

This was a bucket list thing to do in Hiroshima, as part of a 2 week holiday to Japan!!! We had such a good time on our tour to Miyajima thanks to our amazing guide Etsko! She was very kind, friendly and always ensuring that we were enjoying our experience. The island and its attractions are very beautiful and peaceful, with wild deer roaming throughout the island. The temples and shrines are the most beautiful we have seen in Japan. Etsko took great photos for us throughout the tour and we very much enjoyed learning about Japanese culture from her and her life in Japan 😊 We highly recommend this tour for a great day out with a lovely and entertaining guide!

Such an amazing tour. I was a tad reticent about visiting Hiroshima but Etsko our tour guide was so good, she was friendly and very professional and sensitive to our wellbeing whilst remaining  focussed. She helped us make sense of an horrific episode in Hiroshima's history. A story that needs to be told over and over as there can never be a an atom bomb attack again Thank you Etsko.

Excellent tour to a magical island, with Etsko as my guide. We visited all the places I had hoped to see, and more. Etsko is very conscientious as a guide, knowledgeable, and speaks superb English. The weather was perfect, considering it was early December. I recommend the tour highly.

This was a very interesting and enjoyable trip , with lots of helpful information being provided by our lovely tour guide Etsko. Miyajima Island is a very beautiful place , and we were also very lucky with the weather which enhanced our experience . The island is accessed by a short ferry ride , and then the places of interest can be easily reached by foot , with few inclines to cope with, although there are lots of steps at the main temple .The temples and shrines are very photogenic , and the autumn colours were spectacular .Lovely to see the wild deer roaming around . The trip also included an excellent lunch . Overall , can thoroughly recommend this trip to all .

Absolutely fantastic experience.  We learnt so much from our guide and had a mixture of education and remembrance on the walk and in the museum. We had an amazing tour with Etsko today.  She was a fabulous guide and did everything to make the day really memorable.  Etsko was waiting for us at the meeting point and was very friendly.  She brought a file with her and was able to explain a lot of information via photos and diagrams.  The day was extremely well planned as we walked to the peace gardens and exhibition, stopping off at important points on the way.  We were able to ask questions and Etsko was always at hand to make sure that we looked at the key exhibits in the museum.  We made paper cranes with Etsko which was a nice touch and enjoyed a really good lunch.  We were made to feel really special.  Thank you Etsko and Magic Tours.

Good tour providing perspective. Walked through Hiroshima streets identifying points of reference which help frame the information provided in the museum. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is an immersive and very emotional experience. To truly read the presented information and view the exhibits takes much longer than the hour allocated. Additionally the crowd moves through the exhibit hall very slowly which is a testament to its quality and its emotional impact. The tour also took us to the Victims Cenotaph, the Children's Peace Monument, the T bridge which was the target for the bomb, the Dome building and the hypo-center (ground zero) site. The tour ended at the Orizuru tower where we folded origami cranes and dropped them down into the orizuru exterior glass wall.

What an amazing tour! We were guided by the wonderful, knowledgeable and personable guide Etsko. She was absolutely perfect for this tour! Her knowledge and passion for educating made this tour all the more better. There was lots to learn throughout each stop, Etsko made sure we understood each stop and had multiple call backs to link all parts of the tour together. We learnt so much during our time with her and have such a profound respect for the people of Hiroshima. This tour is a must for everybody! Without Etsko’s expert knowledge, we would never have learnt or visited the specific sights including the bank building and the hypo-centre. I was very lucky to experience this tour in Hiroshima with our wonderful guide Etsko, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. She was incredibly warm and caring and made it very important that we not only saw the important places, but also understood the deep history, suffering and emotions that Hiroshima had to go through at the time – and in some cases still bears today.Etsko has shared many stories and destinies with us and connected each stop of the tour to the human side of the story. It was both heartbreaking and eye-opening. As much as the tour brought joy, it also made me think. Her warmth as a local, her empathy and her dedication to making us feel the history were simply overwhelming.Especially touching was their genuine care for us as guests. She also wanted to know more about us and even handed us a beautiful card with a paper crane and a personal handwritten dedication at the end of the tour – a gesture that was as moving as the tour itself.Words cannot describe the infinite suffering the people of Hiroshima endured, but Etsko conveyed it in a way that was both powerful and deeply personal. Etsko was so sweet! It was an impactful and inspiring tour. The museum is tough to go through due to some of the graphics, but so glad we went. You won’t leave the same.

Our guide was Etsko. We had a very good guide tour today. It was only us (a couple) and the guide, so it felt like a private tour, a lot of good stories and history about the island. There was no rush - we could take all the pictures we liked and she would be more than happy to take pictures of us. She was a very wonderful, thoughtful and forthcoming guide. All in all a great day tour and a lot of fun. Would do it again. Highly recommended.

Our guides were amazing as they lead us on our extremely emotional tour through the hypocentre and this beautiful city, it was respectfully educational focusing now on the peacefulness of the area.
