Tokyo Big Sight is situated in the Harumi area adjacent to Tokyo Bay. Therefore, even when there are no events, you can enjoy beautiful views of Tokyo Bay from the outdoor terrace on the upper floor. One of my favorite things to do is gaze at the sea from Harumi and feel the ocean breeze.
You can also see the Tokyo skyline with high-rise buildings surrounding Tokyo Bay. Additionally, if you walk a little from Big Sight, you can ride the water bus that travels across Tokyo Bay.

Comic Market is Japan's largest wholesale event for doujinshi (self-published works). It's held twice a year in summer and winter, with Tokyo Big Sight serving as the main venue. At the venue, self-published manga, illustration collections, and novels called doujinshi are sold.
Comic Market is a place to discover unique creative talents. In Japan's doujinshi world, illustrations, manga, and novels that serve as fan art of existing fictional works such as manga and anime are especially popular. At Comic Market, you'll find many works of such high quality that it's hard to believe they're made by amateurs.
Be sure to explore the venue to find works that match your taste. It's also recommended to check out the high-quality and interesting cosplayers around the venue. Even when there are no events, Meiji Jingu is the perfect place to relax and take a stroll.

Sumō Museum
Source:Japan Sumo Association
The Sumō Museum is located inside the Ryogoku Kokugikan and displays sumo-related materials. Historical items of great value are exhibited, including traditional costumes, ranking charts used in the past, and paintings from hundreds of years ago depicting sumo wrestlers.
The most interesting thing I found at the Sumō Museum was a painting over 250 years old depicting sumo wrestlers walking through the streets of the Ryogoku area. The hairstyles and clothes of the wrestlers in the painting are not much different from those of current wrestlers. It was a piece that made me realize how sumo has continued to preserve Japanese culture and tradition.
From other exhibits, you can also learn about the history of sumo, as well as the history of the town and Japanese history. As one of the notable Tokyo Event Venues 2025, this museum is very popular with tourists because admission is free outside of tournament periods and the quality of the exhibits is high.
Of course, those interested in sumo, as well as those interested in tradition and history, should definitely stop by.

Odaiba Oktoberfest is a beer event held in Odaiba where you can enjoy authentic German beer. You can enjoy imported German beers and German cuisine such as sausages outdoors.
The appeal of this event is the festival-like atmosphere and the authentic German beer. For example, during the April event, the German beer maker Hirschbräu will offer a tasting menu of four different beers. It would be fun to compare the different flavors.
Additionally, what I always look forward to at the Odaiba Oktoberfest is the band performances featuring German folk music. On the main stage, there will also be live performances by Japanese singer-songwriters and idols.
If you're visiting Odaiba, be sure to enjoy beer and music at the Oktoberfest, one of the most anticipated Tokyo Event Venues 2025 for tourists.
