Why I made this tour: When people talk about Japan, it almost always has something to do with Samurais. I made this tour because I wanted visitors from all around the world to know the authentic “Samurai” culture of Japan, which is exactly what is being presented at my “SAMURAI THEATER TOKYO”. By joining our two programs, “Samurai Show” and “Samurai Experience”, not only can you learn the art of fighting like a samurai, you will also feel “Bushido”, a value crucial to a passionate Samurai. “Bushido” is a way of thinking passed down from our ancestors and was shaped by teachings from Shintoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Since our experience is created based on this value, we believe that our experience is the only one available in Tokyo where you can meet a REAL Samurai. If you want to experience an authentic demonstration of Japanese culture, come join us. What you can get by joining our tour: Everything is real, and so is everything you will feel. This experience is held in a real dojo, built inside Shojo-In, a Buddhist temple originally built in 1602, and was once inhabited by members of the Tokugawa shogunate. In “Samurai Theater Tokyo”, our master samurais are trained daily by myself, Hiroki Noguchi. We read Samurai texts, and train and live by our code. One of our members is actually a descendent of the Nabeshima clan. Katanas used during this experience are authentic, even a Katana enthusiast will drool over our collections (including Kanesada). By being truly authentic in all of our tools, we want to guarantee the satisfaction of all of our guests. Target Audiences: Anyone aged over 10 years old can enjoy our experience. Our experience invites guests to feel the Samurai way using all of their senses. We hope all of our guests really enjoy our Samurai Show and Experience program!
