At Dim sum Cafe, authentic dim sum is steamed individually in bamboo steamers called "Seiro" and served fresh to your table. The menu features authentic yet approachable items such as "xiaolongbao" filled with juicy soup, steamed dumplings with shrimp, and gently sweet sesame balls.
Since all dishes are served in small portions, one of the attractions is being able to taste various types little by little.
Additionally, Lake Kawaguchi has spots where you can experience fishing for small fish called wakasagi (Japanese smelt), and there's a special menu where Dim sum Cafe can fry the wakasagi you catch yourself into tempura. You can enjoy this unique experience of having your catch cooked immediately after enjoying fishing.
Exquisite Pairing of Dim Sum and Wine

The combination of dim sum and wine is still a relatively new style in Japan, but at Dim sum Cafe, you can fully enjoy this pairing. Yamanashi is famous as an area that actively produces wine in Japan, and you can enjoy locally produced wines here.
Some of the dim sum wrappers at this restaurant incorporate "wine pomace" (wine grape residue), and the excellent compatibility between wine pomace and dim sum is another noteworthy feature.
Furthermore, they carry wines from over 150 wineries across Japan beyond Yamanashi, and you can enjoy pairings of wines from various regions with their carefully crafted dim sum.
Glass wines are purchased through a coin server system, and when I visited, I ended up drinking quite a lot because I wanted to try various comparisons.
Since there's an attached wine shop, you can also purchase any wines you particularly enjoy on the spot.
Liquor Shop
The Liquor Shop located within Mina-no-Hiroba Terrace is a shop where carefully selected wines from all over Japan come together.
Particularly noteworthy is the extensive selection of wines made locally in Yamanashi. You can enjoy a diverse range of flavors nurtured by Yamanashi's terroir, from fruity and easy-to-drink white wines to deep red wines.

Yamanashi Prefecture is the birthplace of Japanese winemaking and is famous for wine production within Japan, producing about 20% of the country's wine.
This Liquor Shop offers not only local wines but also wines from all over Japan, so you can try various wines all at once.
Japanese wines are often fruity and easy to drink, so even people who don't usually drink wine much might enjoy them.
In addition to wine, there's also a lineup of local beer, Japanese sake, shochu, and other beverages, so you can fully enjoy Japanese alcohol.
There's also an old vintage wine corner featuring wines like Romanée-Conti, and for a wine lover like myself, it was a place I wanted to stay at forever.
With coin servers available, you can taste carefully and purchase wines you like after trying them

One of the major attractions of the Liquor Shop is the wine coin servers installed in the store.
Please note that the coin servers are not located in the Liquor Shop on the first floor of the building, but are installed in the Dim sum Cafe on the second floor.
You can casually do tastings using special coins and actually taste wines you're curious about before purchasing them at the Liquor Shop on the first floor.
Since you can enjoy them by the glass, it's easy to find wines that suit your taste, and there's the joy of discovering wines you didn't know about.
Various types of wines are available including red, white, and rosé, and you can choose while comparing each flavor.
I also took home wines I discovered here and enjoyed them at home.
BBQ Square
The BBQ Square at Mina-no-Hiroba Terrace is an outdoor facility where you can casually enjoy authentic barbecue at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
The spacious garden area is equipped with covered tables and cooking facilities, creating an environment that's less affected by weather and easy to use for families and group trips.

The attractive point is that even while traveling, you can experience authentic barbecue with just a reservation, without preparing anything.
You need to prepare drinks yourself, but you can bring alcohol purchased from the Liquor Shop, so you can immediately enjoy Japanese wines that caught your interest during tasting.
I enjoyed pairing wines while asking the staff for recommendations for wines that go with seafood and wines that go with meat.
Since no preparation or cleanup is required, it's the perfect environment for stopping by between sightseeing to get an outdoor atmosphere.
Note that there are also plans where you can prepare your own ingredients, so please choose according to your situation.

The greatest attraction of BBQ Square lies in its spectacular location overlooking the magnificent Mt. Fuji.
From the terrace seats, on clear days you can see clearly all the way to the summit of Mt. Fuji, and the time spent dining with that view is truly an extraordinary experience.
Under the wide sky, feeling the wind while grilling meat, seafood, and vegetables and enjoying alcohol from all over Japan is exceptional.
It will be a fulfilling time where you can enjoy both scenery and taste. The photo opportunities are outstanding too, giving a special feeling as a travel memory.
Food eaten in nature tastes delicious, doesn't it? The scenery overlooking Mt. Fuji and the beautiful air full of nature also serve as spices for your cooking.

Many products are long-lasting items such as seasonings and bottled foods that are suitable for taking home, allowing you to recreate the memorable flavors you experienced locally even at home.

Among the products handled at the Antenna shop, particularly noteworthy is the "RE-WINE" series. These are products that utilize grape pomace produced during the wine-making process in Yamanashi, representing new local items that combine environmental consideration with health consciousness.
Since Yamanashi is one of Japan's leading wine-producing regions, they had been troubled by the disposal of pomace generated during the wine-making process. The pomace contains abundant polyphenols and is said to have higher nutritional value than regular wine.
Therefore, they developed products utilizing this byproduct. Bolognese sauce, herb salt, and garlic salt made from pomace are easy to incorporate into cooking and are highly popular as souvenirs. I purchased the garlic salt and enjoy it together with Yamanashi wine.
