We had a perfect tour with Rina. She knows a lot of secret routes. We had so much fun. Afterwards we rented a bike on our own. She take a lot of fear about this busy town from us. We got a completely new view of Tokyo. Now one of our favorite cities.

Rina provided us with the most memorable experience of the three tours we did, and that’s not a slight on the other tours. they were all amazing experiences but Rina really went above and beyond in terms of being a great guide.

Rina walked me through à very pleasant vegan tour in Shimokitazawa, the food was lovely and the company too ! It was à Nice experience

This tour is a great way to discover a real market atmosphere and learn  about Japanese culture.

It was just me on the tour, which could’ve been awkward,  but Rina was a fantastic guide and we had a great time and great conversation.

Our Tsukiji Fish Market Tour with Rina and Haruka was a great experience.  The market was definitely worth seeing and having our guides take us around and navigate the different dining options was very helpful.  Without them, we would not have been able to eat in our little booth deep in the center of the market (which was very memorable for the food and atmosphere).  I am very happy we did this tour and I would highly recommend it.

Rina was fantastic! She was a perfect guide for where we went and kept things lively and entertaining. I would definitely go on another tour with her as the guide. 

We had so much fun on this tour!  Rina and Seika we truly wonderful tour guides. They were very easy to find, right where we were told to meet ( Magical Trip provides a photo of the meeting spot which was incredibly helpful, as was the red sign they displayed).  The pace was perfect. We never felt rushed and always felt that our guides knew where we were even when we were in a store shopping or in a busy restaurant.  We never felt at risk of being left behind.  Both guides spoke perfect English and provided a lot of information and demonstrated customs in a really fun and respectful way. It was really such a pleasure to spend the day with them!  They took interest in everyone within n our group ( just 3 families) and facilitated conversation which made our meal very comfortable and fun and got everyone involved. They were so personable! One thing I love about Magical Trip is that the guides take pictures throughout the tour and provide them via a very easy to access link.  They took many great pictures and let us video them demonstrating customs.  All of the activities they planned were a lot of fun for all ages.  The Monster Cafe was fun and Rina and Seika helped to make sure everyone got what they wanted on the menu and helped to make sure we all got pictures with the characters.  Thank you Rina and Seika for such a fantastic time and wonderful memories. 

It was very fun and interesting Tour, my son absolutely had a great time exploring and browsing all the vintage games and had a lot of fun at the maid cafe. Rina was awesome and very helpful. 

This tour was truly amazing! Our guides Rina and Mami were absolutely wonderful and so pleasant! We learned so much from them about the beautiful culture of Japan while shopping and eating our way through the marketplace. We were allowed ample time to shop. The Senso-ji Temple was quite impressive and majestic. Our guides taught us the ritual of tossing a special coin and praying at a Temple, and fanning the smoke from an incense burner towards you as the incense is believed to have healing powers. We had such a fun time cooking our own Okonomiyaki lunch which was delicious! As guides, Rina and Mami went above and beyond! We would highly recommend this tour as it exceeded our expectations! This was one of the best experiences I have ever had on a tour. Rina our tour guide was very down to earth and so much fun. Each location presented a new and amazing experience. Everyone on the tour had a great time and it was great to meet new people. I definitely recommend this tour!

Really awesome tour guide. Rina was so kind and hilarious, she felt like an instant friend to my sister and I who were taking our first tour in Tokyo. We really enjoyed our time and since then, we booked many more tours with Magical Trip!

Rina is a super sweet nice person. She was polite and helpful. While she was pleasant company, her knowledge and content about the market and other matters was rudimentary. 

Great time exploring some of the night life in Tokyo. Is a great way to get your bearings on Tokyo’s nightlife and have a better gauge on how to navigate your nights out. Rina and Risako were very helpful guides and we would recommend this tour to anyone considering!

Great time with Rina. She's friendly, funny and easy to talk with. A great local hostess for our Shinjuku food tour.  We enjoyed chatting with her and asking her about the cultural and food origins of our meal. Some unique spots that locals only go to :)

Sitting through 2 hours of the practice was quite long.  Would have liked more information about the actual like of sumos from when they start young to training to fighting at tournament. Their training regime.  It was just literally watching them practice for 2 hours.  Then we went to this sumo museum which was free anyway.



This tour was a ton of fun. It really was a magical tour, after an excellent night we ended up getting interviewed for tv at a ninja bar. What a great start to my trip. Rina was an excellent guide. Give her a raise!

Excellent tour! We thorough enjoyed this tour.  Rina was a wealth of knowledge and very personable.  There was ample time to taste various food samples and to buy them.  I also bought knife, with Rina being a tremendous help in translating my needs to the knife maker.  We also found some neat souvenirs to buy, a sake cup set and some plastic fake food for displays.  Our lunch was very yummy, chirashi bowl.  A great hole in the wall place that we would have never found.  Mahalo for a great time!

What a great experience! Rina was a fantastic guide and really made the tour. She knew loads about the Harajuku area and really made the visit mean something. The Kawaii Monster cafe was so much fun to eat at and Takeshita Dori was great to explore. I definitely recommend this and any other tour. If I'm back in Tokyo again I will definitely use them

Rina was wonderful! The tour was great, and we had a lot of fun. Also, our tour with Rina was the very first thing we did on our trip, and it was the perfect way to start. Not only was it fun, but Rina was able to answer questions we had about Japan in general, that was very useful for the rest of our trip. She was a wonderful tour guide, and I highly recommend one of her tours.

Great idea, great little tour. If you’re interested in vegan and Japanese Food, go and have fun and some tasty meals. I wish the guide had more ideas and vegan options, tips and stuff available, since it can be hard to figure out stuff as a vegan..

Tour was fun and educational.   Rina was a great guide.  She took us to areas we would have never visited because they were hidden and only known if you were a local.  We definitely would take a tour with her again.

We all had a great time with Rina on the tour.  Rina explained to us the culture of Akihabara and showed us different areas that the locals frequent.  We definitely suggest you should take this tour prior to visiting Akihabara by yourself.  The Maid Cafe was a fun and memorable place.  We suggest Rina as a guide she knew a lot about the area.  Magical tours is great and we would use the company again on our next visit to Japan. 

Doing the Tsukiji fish market tour was one of the highlights of our stay in Tokyo! Rina was so knowledgeable and took the time to ask us what foods we wanted to try and made sure we got the chance to taste them. She also explained the different between temples and shrines and gave us an in depth tour of the market. She was so patient while I went through the knife shops to find my perfect chef's knife! It was great having her there to translate! And the sashimi bowl was the best tuna I've ever had. As a bonus she took us to a secret spot to get perfect aerial shots of the market and downtown Tokyo. She was the best!! Thanks Rina and Magical Trip!

Was really fun and interesting to watch a Sumo practice. It didn't take too long to figure out what was going on and we got all our questions answered afterwards when we went to see the arena where they have their matched. Tommy and Rina were very pleasant and informative. Great guides!

Rina & Yusuke were great hosts, sharing all sorts of great information on like in Tokyo.  The conversation amongst the group was lively from different types of sake to bar life in Tokyo to what subway stations are the most crowded in Tokyo.  It was both extremely enjoyable and informative.

We had a lovely time with our host tour of the shinbuya district of Tokyo. We had our baby boy with us and Rina was very accommodating. 

An amazing experience, sitting literally a couple of meters from the wrestlers ! Even better that one of the wrestlers was the most recent champion Tamawashi, who was also very friendly afterwards allowing photo's together.

We had a wonderful time on our private tour. Rina and her associate were lovely people to spend a day with, and it was a definite highlight of our five days in Tokyo. The bikes were in excellent condition, and the lunch stop was delicious! Organising the day was simple and easy, with great communication at every stage. Thank you!

What a fantastic fun day!  Love the concept of riding bikes in Tokyo to sightsee! Rina & Tommy were so great & now We feel like We have friends in Tokyo!! Beautiful sights and so interesting to see old Tokyo-thanks for a great time!

 It was fascinating to see the sumo wrestlers practice, I was surprised at how close we were able to sit, and I was lucky enough to get a picture with two of them afterwards.   Rina and Tommy were also very good guides, very friendly and knowledgeable. The only disappointing thing was that this tour did not include the chanko meal (the guides said it was too early), even though this was mentioned on the tour description page and even in the confirmation e-mail.  I think the web page and e-mail should be updated to say that this is only offered at certain times.  However, I would still recommend this tour.

We enjoyed our trip a lot - visited parts of Tokyo we wouldn’t have done otherwise, aided and abetted by our friendly guide! 😁

Mai and Rina were lovely guides and it was a fascinating morning watching the sumo wrestlers train and seeing inside a training stable.

Rina was very knowledgeable and a great guide.  She even provided good local insights.  I would recommend doing this excursion for foreign tourists as it was a unique experience 

This was amazing! We are so close to the wrestlers. Learned so much about how dedicated they are and how it all works. When I posted the photos, so many friends said it was the coolest thing I posted of all the photos of our trip!

The tour was great, very interesting, easy to talk with, and very fun!

We had a really great time experiencing Akihabara with Rina! She showed us many interesting places, and the visit in the Maid Cafe was truly entertaining!
