I had a wonderful experience with Mana. She gave me little introduction in local cuisine and we had good chat over all things in life. I was lucky enough to have personal tour, but I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

It was such a great tour. Mana was such a sweetheart and one of the best tour guide we have ever had. I totally recommend Magical Trip not only for their variety o5r tours or their their great guides but we booked our tour on the day of and they worked with us to make it happen. Also, my friend is allergic to raw seaweed and cant eat raw fish, instead of automatically making her meal vegetarian, they asked us questions on what she can eat and called the sushi restaurant to so that they can accommodate us. It was an awesome experience and I would love to do more tours with Magical Trip in my future Japan travels. 

Mana and Kae were such nice tourguides! Both are really friendly and well informed about vegan food in Tokyo. We got introduced to the wonderful streets of Shimokitazawa and visited some nice places to eat. The vegan food was delicous.

Mana and Kae were also able to answer a lot of our questions about being vegan in local life and veganism in Japan in general. We read some critical comments about the guides not being strictly vegan, but that didn’t bother us at all. 
We would highly recommend this tour!

The morning with Mana was good but I think for the price we wanted a tour from a vegan living in the area to get more knowledge about how life is for vegans there and what struggles they face. Mana was really friendly and great to talk to, we had a nice time. That was the only point that could be improved on for the price. The food was delicious and would definitely recommend going there.

Mana the Banana and Ayaka are so amazing! Great people to show you around and hang out with! Lovely girls with great personalities. And yes, they speak English pretty well, so no worries there. We had many laughs and lots of food/drinks. 

The tour itself is very fun if you’re into KAWAIIII!!! And even if you’re not...my partner was more along for the ride, but it was an experience for him and still had a great time learning and exploring. 

We are staying in Shinjuku so it was also a great way to explore Harajuku. 

I definitely recommend Magical Trip, especially if you don’t know any locals or aren’t familiar with Tokyo (it is our first time here). 

We had a private tour which was nice but we also did the Shinjuku Bar hopping tour and that was also nice to meet others from around the world. So either way, you’re staying engaged and meeting new people. 

But I definitely recommend doing a tour with these two awesome chicks because I genuinely had a great experience that I’ll always remember AND some new friends ❤️

Definitely worth doing this tour! We had sushi, beef barbecue and dessert. I probably wouldn’t have even found the food places on my own so it was great to experience them especially with a Japanese to answer all your questions.

And Mana was an amazing tour guide!! She explained everything very clearly and made sure we were thoroughly informed about what we were doing at multiple stages throughout the tour, and gave us a lot of helpful tips on shopping and other places to visit.

Let’s start from the basics: the tour was great! I really enjoyed it throughout. Mana is an exceptional tour guide, adding so much information about history (of food, japan) to each step but also nice to engage in non-food related chats.
I wouldn’t have entered the restaurants we visited if it wasn’t because of the tour, mixing well with locals. We added stops here and there go get more a feeling for Shinjuku. Definitely worth it.

Mana and Yumiko showed us the sights of Old Tokyo on bikes!  It was easy to book and they were wonderful hosts.  Very knowledgeable and attentive to the hopes of our trip around the old sights.  They were fun and interesting ladies and we enjoyed their company while seeing the various locations.  Ask for these girls when you make your booking as they will make your trip a delight!  Thank you!  

Thank you Mana the Banana for being a great tour guide.  I thought might be awkward since I was the only member on the Akihabara tour that day, so it was a solo tour, but Mana the Banana did great, many stuff to talk about, making it less awkward.
Visited many prime spots at Akihabara, Gatchapon, Arcade, and Super Potato for nostalgic childhood and games.
The best part of the tour was the Maid Cafe, all the Maids were very friendly, even with the language barrier, I did not feel uncomfortable at all.  
Mana the Banana is a great help as a translator during the conversations.
It was just great to experience the atmosphere and the Maids at the cafe are great people.

Had a fun bike tour with Mana. She is very friendly, well spoken and knowledgeable. She also took great photos. Highly recommend the Tokyo bike tour and our guide, Mana.

Juri and Mana were great tour guides! Both of them were engaging with the group and knew the area very well. 

We had an amazing time at the Karaoke. 

We both had done very little Karaoke in the past so we were not 100% confident but Mana, being really friendly, helped us to have a fantastic time.

I had a private tour through tsujiki fish market, it was an okay tour.
Mana was very nice.
But the lunch place we went was not good at all, i couldn’t really eat anything. It would have been nice if the restaurant was discussed as i am more an vegetarian.

Despite being on his first tour as Mana's understudy, Ryota felt more like a friend than a tour guide on this trip; the constant interaction with his warm and outgoing personality has certainly made this Tsukiji tour a pleasant experience. 

We had a wonderful tour with Mana. Scheduling was quite easy. We arrived at the meeting spot on time and Mana was waiting for us. We walked in the old town and she got us Japanese snacks at our first stop and then took us to the nearby Temple. She was quite knowledgeable and gave detailed explanations. Then we had a delicious lunch at the local restaurant. She is very lovely and friendly.It felt like we were having a conversation with an old friend. She answered our questions about Japanese culture and life through a young Japanese woman’s perspective. We learned a lot from her. After lunch, we went to the area with nice shops and she helped us buy pottery gifts. Then we walked back to the train station. 
We had a wonderful time with Mana The Banana and we highly recommend her tour to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Very nice exposure of the city, and got a nice workout too, and nice to get a firsthand tour of the city. Mana Banana was very sweet and she knew her stuff. We were even lucky to have Mana to ourselves since no one else scheduled, and she did not cancel. And when you think of it, the cost is not bad either since it includes lunch, the cost of the bike rental, and then a longer than normal tour time too. Was a good thing to do at the beginning of a trip here to give us some ideas as to places to come back to or even ask Mana about other areas in the city too. Would recommend and would consider a different tour if I ever make it back to Japan. Thanks Mana!

Mana and Shin provided an excellent tour of the fish market and environs.  Both guides were knowledgeable and friendly.  We met on a very hot day and visited a beautiful Bhuddist temple and then continued on to the bustling kaleidoscope of the historic fish market.  A great lunch and then we saw a Shinto shrine dedicated to fishermen.  Alas, it was time to say goodbye!  The tour was fascinating and well tailored to our interests.

I geniunely enjoyed our tour even it was a hot sunny day in Japan. Our tour guides are very nice and knowledgeable when in comes to Japan history. Hospitality of Japanese people are truly amazing. We’ll definitely get another magical trip tour next year when we go to Osaka. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mana and Kuni were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was just the right amount of time, and had a nice, relaxed pace with plenty of flexibility built in. I highly recommend this tour and hope to do some of the others in the future.

I had a thoroughly delightful evening with Mana the Banana, Saku and Toshi. There were three charming guides and 2 of us guests that evening. Mana seemed like the worldly-wise one with a wry smile and considerable knowledge about Shinjuku and Japan. Saku was young, open, engaged, and delightful. Toshi seemed like he was experienced beyond his years. The three of them made for terrific companions,  knowledgeable, friendly. engaged, fun  and interesting,  as we were introduced to the colorful world of izekaya in Shinjuku. Even for experienced travelers to Japan like me, this was a different experience and I'm enormously glad I was introduced to it  in the company of folks that I so enjoyed. 

Mana was a delight. She was a great conversationalist and kept us entertained the whole time. The experience lasted about three hours, but we could have let her tour us around Shibuya all night! We will add this tour to every future trip to Japan. 

We highly recommend Mana, we never felt rushed and she was very accommodating on any special request. We enjoyed spending time with her and all the stories she told us, it was a very fun time we had On our next visit we will definitely get another tour with her.

Excellent experience and ate some delicious food. Was a great way to meet people and wander around an older part of Tokyo. Mana was an awesome guide. 

I've done three tours with Mana now and she is the best!!  I had a great time on the Yanaka walking tour, it was really interesting to see an area of Tokyo that I probably wouldn't have found on my own. I've been to Tokyo four or five times now and I had never even heard of Nezu Shrine, which has a miniature version of the famous tunnel of torii gates at Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto. Mana also showed me some cool shops and interesting street food along Yanaka Ginza. Would highly recommend this tour and Mana as a guide!

The tour was amazing. Learned alot and went shopping to find a specific kitchen knife. Mana helped me in translating what I wanted, even though I couldn't find it, the tour was still great. The lunch at the end was delicious!

Mana gave us the most fun and comprehensive tour. I tried local food and drink that I would have missed without the tour. She's friendly, interesting, speaks great English, and showed us a good time like visiting with a friend.

I attended the Sumo experience tour with my family. It was a magical experience, and so very unique. We had an amazing time, and it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Tokyo. The tour guides were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Mana and Kui did an excellent job showing us around Akihabara. Our teenagers loved their youthful energy and they made sure the kids were thoroughly entertained! The maid cafe was an experience none of us will soon forget! 

The Shinjuku bar hop was a great experience with our guide Mana. She was very knowledgeable about the area, and the history of Shinjuku. The food was great at the places we went. After the tour, Mana graciously showed us other popular spots to visit while we were in Shinjuku. Afterwards, she made sure everyone knew how to get back to their hotels. I had so much fun on my bike tour with Mana, she is so open and easy to talk to. It was my first day in japan and I was by myself so doing the bike tour with her really made me feel happy and calm! Would recommend her a million times over!

Tokyo can be a difficult place to be vegetarian or vegan. This tour did a good job at introducing me to the kind of places that are more vegetarian friendly. This tour visited 3 places in total - a farm-to-table style restaurant, a ramen place with vegan options and a tea house. Of the three, i liked the farm style food the best. Mana, the guide on my tour, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. She provided a lot of context and information on Japanese culture that I found useful as a first time visitor to Japan.  

It was a BLAST!!! Started off at a Bar / Lounge to get to know each other first, good drinks, busy but not too packed. ManaSan was very eager to show us the ropes clubbing in Tokyo. Went to a great club after, again ManaSan recommendations was spot on!

We had a great time on the anime and gaming tour with Mana. She was knowledgeable and charismatic which made our trip that much more enjoyable. We live in Tokyo and booked the trip for my brother’s birthday since he was visiting us for Christmas but despite that, we still discovered many new things in the city where we live. My brother is an anime and video game fanatic and he had a great time. Thank you! We’ll definitely book a tour magical trip the next time we have guests in town.

Had a great time on the Anime and Gaming Akihabara tour with Mana!   We went to a bunch of places I never would have known about on my own, learned all about otaku culture, and saw a lot of weird and hilarious things (especially the pillowcases!)  I was the only one on the tour but with Mana it wasn't awkward at all, it felt just like hanging out with a friend for a few hours.   Would highly recommend this tour, especially if Mana is your guide!

This tour was booked due to the time it was offered, and i was fearful a later one would conflict with jetlag.  They were very helpful and responsive via email which was great. 
I was fortunate to have a private tour due to no one else signing up on my night (i was happy they didnt cancel), and had the pleasure of 2 guides since Tommy joined because he was "in training".
What great company they were , and helpful in telling me what types of resturants and food we went to. 
I left full, however as great as the guides were, I think there may be some better resturants for the money that was spent.  
I would reccomend the tour for anyone looking to have fun, but truly compared to other tours I went on this delivered less for teh same amount.  
The first resturant provided 2 drinks and we all shared our orders which gave 3 courses.  The second you got an appitizer and a small second course with one drink...however the last bar was 1 drink only and no food.  I was unimpressed by the bar, and the offering. 


Mana the Banana has excellent English and a great sense of fun. Our party of 4 had a brilliant time on her tour of Shinjuku.  Highly recommended!

I was lucky to have Mana all to myself and so so didn't only get to enjoy amazing and very authentic vegan japanese food, but also a really nice and interesting conversation. And I love my new breakfast plates that I got at the beautiful shop that belonged to the lovely tea house where we has the mochi soup. Thank you again, Mana :)

Mana was a hoot! We enjoyed our evening and met new people in the process. We got to hangout will locals in bars we might not have discovered. 

Mana was a fountain of knowledge for our questions and provided some great food recommendations at the izakaya. She has a fun, spirited personality which contributed to a great night out. 

Mana the Banana chose authentic, incredibly delicious tiny Izakiyas. Never underestimate Highballs or Chu-Hi’s, we were all giggling comfortably toward end of night! 

Best 85 I ever spent. The Sumo are lower ranks but still one terrific experience to view this practice and the chanko afterwards is icing on the cake. Well worth your time. 

Had a great time with Mana, she was very knowledgeable about each izakaya we visited and even had one changed to suit the tastes of the group. I highly recommend this for with Mana, you won't regret it!

The Tokyo Bar Hopping  Nigt Tour in Shinjuku was awesome! All the food and drinks that I had was excellent. From the yakitorito the sashimi.

Mana was GREAT! She was really cool guide as our group got along very well and was lively. Would not hesitate to do a tour Magical-Trip again.

Shinjuku Bar Hopping Night Tour is a definite must in Tokyo. If you like night life with food and drinks but are hesitant about going into any restaurants/local shops, Magical Trip is here to the rescue. 

My husband and I loved how each location introduced us to the different styles of Japan and also, what's currently trending there. We started with a small cramp izakaya shop which serves small plates of bar food and an array of various drinks (you can definitely feel the energy from the customers here). The next spot was a bit more spacious, while still casual it was a bit more on the classy side. Food was very fresh - get the sashimi! Lastly, we were taken to a sake bar. It is a fairly new bar according to Mana, tucked away on the 10th floor of a building. Extremely sleek looking and has a great view of Shinjuku. If you're a drinker, this place is quite heavenly.

All in all, I think Magical Trip covered the food and drink culture of Japan really well. Many thanks to Magical Trip and Mana the Banana for making this happen.

Had a blast with the group and Mana. We laughed and drank and laughed some more. Definitely got to see some spots that only the locals would know about. Very authentic and low key places to experience while in Tokyo. Keep up the good work.

This was one of our favorite things on our trip in Tokyo so far! Mana was a great host and we got to go to some places we would have never found. Try to do this on the first night of your trip!

The food was great, something different and new. The drinks were awesome, I would say the bars offer something for everyone and the last bar is a can’t miss good time. I can’t say enough how good this tour is and how amazing the tour guide was. If I’m in Tokyo again I will for sure book another tour with Magical Trip.
